Today (after skiing in the morning), I did my 90 minutes on the water. A lot of medium sized brown caddis were egg laying and the big silver striped sedge was dive bombing, also. I rigged a size 14 tungsten beadhead brown caddis emerger and got two nice rainbows and two chunky whitefish. I mostly fish alone, and I took a camera, but not a good DSLR, just my trusty little Olympus Tough (size of a deck of cards). Rugged and waterproof, it is an incredible $250 wader pouch camera. I’ll attach a couple shots from today. The fish never came out of the water - www.keepemwet.org - and all the beauty that wild rainbows have was recorded in a simple and fast way.
